New Adventures!!!
Okay so there are actually a few things that came before Taelin's birthday that I would like to share!
First time putting feet into Provo River... bur... it was cold!!!
Taelin and Logan (her cousin) took their first swimming class together. It was so much fun to see how Taelin loved the water. This was the first time she had entered a pool since she was two months old. She liked it a lot more this time! :) We tried to teach her to lay on her back in the water, it worked as long as mom's shoulder was under her head. I dunked her for the first time that day. I have to say that she did very well, she was a little suprised but didn't cry at all. Logan started to warm up to the idea of a pool about the second lesson. The first lesson he was frozen, litteraly, he was shivering and everything. At the second lesson he started to play which warmed up a little!
Danny was accepted to BYU this summer semester. So we went on campus to meet with his councelor to sign up for the right classes. Taelin decided that she wanted to push the stroller, not sit in it, around campus. Danny is enjoying his Chemistry class so far. It is challenging but he is trying his best to understand it.
Before school started we decided that we needed to take a vacation. We were planning on going out to CA to visit my mom. We sat down and realized that the only week that would work was memorial weekend. My sister Jennie and her family were going to be there for their pit stop on their way to Vietnam. My Aunt was there and my sister Emily and family was going to be there. It ended up being a great big family reunion. My brother Michael drove with us from Utah, it was nice to have someone to keep Danny awake. I am a sleeping traveler. I enjoy long naps while traveling long or short distances in the car! hehehe
It was so nice to have a vacation away from everyday life! We swam almost every day, even though it was overcast and sometimes I think colder than Utah. But it was a blast. The food, company, and accommodations were wonderful! Thanks for having us Buckwalters.
The gorgeous view walking down from the beach condo. San Clemente beach is beautiful!
Auntie knowing how hot it was going to be in Vietnam, she bought Emma some new night gowns for bed! She loved them!
After our trip to CA. Taelin decided to play with the vacuum. She is terrified of the vacuum, but still likes to touch it. Here is a funny clip of her experimenting with the power button.

A much needed update!!!
It wasn't ME!!!
So it has been way toooo long since I have posted! Our computer crashed, we got rid of the Internet, and we are too impatient to use my in-laws computer to blog! Talk about like 20 min to load a page at times!!! Not worth it! Excuses excuses I know!!! Danny started school at BYU this summer semester so we needed to buy a computer for homework, since everything is online these days! I am happy to now be at home on a fast computer instead of the ancient one at the Robertson's house. :) We are very grateful to them though for letting us us theirs in the meantime!
Since February, much has happened in our lives. Taelin is growing up way too fast but we are loving almost every minute of it. The bad sleeping habits I could do without! :) But everything else is wonderful. From learning how to walk, saying Mama, Dada, going up and down stairs, to eating normal food (no more baby food). Taelin is almost bottle weened, and she is finally getting her upper four teeth! Ouch, I have soo many cute pictures, but they are a pain to put on here, so we will see how many I post!

Thank you Michael for getting up and driving Taelin and Me to the Orem and Provo Easter egg hunts! It was a blast!
This was the best way to get Taelin to pick up eggs by herself!
Easter with the cousins!
Taelin learned how to walk! These are her first few steps!

Family Vacation
We took a family Vacation with the Robertsons to Goblin Valley, UT. This was quite the trip. We drove down to meet everyone on Sunday after Work and Church. Then on Monday we all hiked Wild Horse Canyon! It was beautiful! The sand stone shows perfect lines from the wear and tare of water and wind moving through the canyon. My cousin Jamie let us barrow her baby pack! Thank you!!! It was a life saver. Danny said that by the end of the day his shoulders hurt, but it was nice to not have to hold Taelin the whole way. It was a five mile hike! Taelin slept, watched, cried, ate, etc... all in the back pack and came out for a little break in the middle. After the hike, the wind started to pick up. We got in the cars and went for a quick trip down to visit the goblins. These are statues formed by the wind. It was sooo windy down there. The wind pelted my legs and it felt like tiny needles hitting me everywhere. We covered Taelin and hurried down the hill to the goblins. It was fun to hike around them for a while. Alex and Matt had fun jumping from goblin to goblin.

Danny and I provided Chili for dinner that night and then everyone retired to their tents, due to the wind. This was a long night! The zipper on our tent wouldn't close! After much patience Danny and I finally got the door closed. I went to gather some things and when came back noticed Danny in the tent, and thought to myself, oh, he must have fixed the zipper and then proceeded to open the zipper. Ahhhh... I should have just shot myself in the foot. He had entered the tent through the door on the other side of the tent!!! We never got the door closed again. We tried duct tape but it was no match for the sandy wind. Luckily the tent had three different rooms so we closed Taelin's side off, from the main part, so the sandy wind would not get to her. Danny and I took turns through the night holding up the poles to the tent. At one point Danny fell asleep and woke with a bonk on the head. The wind felt like it could have been blowing about 70 mph. That morning it was pretty much hurry and pack up as quick as possible for everyone! As we were emptying our tent I started to hear snapping. Two of the spring poles had snapped. After that we hurried as fast as we could to pack up the tent! I don't even remember if we had breakfast! I don't think that we did. The babies, Taelin and Logan chilled in the van with Megan while we were taking down the tents. Scott and Amanda, Danny and I headed back to Orem while the rest headed to Denver. This was a fun yet interesting vacation.

Sergent JD Thornock Home from IraqWe had so much fun getting ready for JD to come home from Iraq. When Laura told us, we called around to see who would donate things to welcome home a Marine from Iraq. WalMart decided to donate yellow balloons and Maceys helium and string. The ward put up flags down our street and Laura and I made signs to put up. It was going to be perfect. Well each day we waited for the final I'm coming home and it finally came on May 1st, 2008 he would be arriving at the base around 4:00 p.m. The wind was horrible. We were going to steak balloons between each flag but they were popping on the grass. So we ended up putting bunches around their front door and up the banister in their house and by the sign at the beginning of our street! It looked great!
