We're Back!!!

We're Back! heheh Luna, New Mexico was fun for Christmas! We even got snow! I had a great time playing games, watching movies, attempting to start the fire for the stove!, making breakfast Christmas morning, cutting down a tree, sledding, watching Taelin sled for the first time! Etc... But I am SOOOOO excited to be home! No more waiting for the bathroom, following Taelin around reminding her not to touch the stove or the fire place or the space heaters! She did such a great job down there! I think that she only bumped into the stove once and that is the only close call I know of! Well... I just wanted to let you all know that we made it safely home and that we had a great Christmas! No I did not have the baby yet... good thing! I have begun the Swelling process unfortunately. I thought that I was safe this time since I'm having a winter baby and I didn't start to swell like three months ago like I did with Taelin!

Anyway.... I will write more and post pictures and videos later! I am so tired that I wouldn't mind taking Sleeping Beauties place! :)
Love you all and thanks for reading!

Snow Fun!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

Every December my Aunt makes a wreath to put on my sister Annelise's grave. She does such a good job! They always turn out sooo cute! The first thing that Taelin did when we got to the cometary was sit on Annee's grave! Annelise would understand and probably laugh, so I didn't bother making her get off.

Oh.... The winter wonderland has arrived!!!! I am so excited to finally have snow! With the snow come the responsibilities of shoveling the walks at our apartment building. Taelin does so well following Danny around and playing in the snow with him.... I get to take the pictures and spread the ice-melt. I shoveled a little! There sure was a lot of snow to shovel! Here are some pictures of our fun family adventure in the snow!

This morning Taelin woke up at 4:00 a.m.!!! Ahhhhh.... I thought that we had this whole sleeping through the night down! I guess not! It was okay though because we were getting up at 5:00 a.m. to take my brother to the airport! He is joining my mom, and sisters in California for Christmas! He is going to have a great time! Here are some pictures of our drop off!

I hope that you have enjoyed our Blog! Merry Christmas to you all!!!

Trip to Salt Lake City!

So yesterday our little family took the trek up to Salt Lake City! Danny needed to go tour the Church History Museum so we did that first and then took advantage of being close and seeing the lights! The Museum was great and Taelin was even amused by all of the things that were at her level! They were so smart in putting up railings and plexy glass below to allow the children to see the exhibits too! She loved looking at the refection of Angel Maroni in the window looking towards Temple Square! One of my favorite things is watching or riding the carriages! (I have only road in the carriage when I was about 5 years old) The sound of the Clydesdale hooves clapping against the road is just so beautiful not to mention the horse itself! The lights were amazing they are always soo beautiful and make me want to be so ambitious myself and do it to all of the trees in my yard, but who am I kidding do you know how long that would take! FOREVER! I love decorating for Christmas but do not enjoy being a human ice sculpture. On our way home I was in the mood for Olive Gardens soup! And just as we were passing a car pulled out of a parking place just in front of the restaurant! We were meant to go.. the wait was only 10 minutes so we stayed! I love the Minestrone soup there.... it's the best! Yummmm.... Taelin enjoyed it too.... There was a family of kids sitting behind me and they had fun making her laugh! We're talking a gut belly laugh! It was adorable and we all had a good time laughing with her! Thanks for reading! Have a very merry time getting ready for Christmas!

Hopin' for a Winter Wonder Land!

I sooo love winter! I love all four seasons! So far Utah has been lacking one or two of the seasons every year for the last few years. They come late and leave early! So sad!!! I remember the years when I would play play play in the snow that was at least two feet deep all winter long! The boys in the neighborhood would make the coolest forts! They were tall enough that you could stand up in them and they would build them on a hill so that you could slid into the igloo and then they had another way out! I am not quite sure what the inside was like, because they were true boys and NO GIRLS were allowed! So sad! but they were still cool to look at. The next door neighbor would take his four wheeler and snow plow all of the snow to the side of the street into a big pile.... then I would attempt to make my own igloo.... never really was fun since you have all of the dirt from the road! No shoveling isn't the best, but it sure makes for a great family activity with hot chocolate afterwords. I wish that the snow would stick today! It needs to look more like Christmas! Here is a cute picture and video of Taelin playing in the snow! Okay so Blogger is being stuborn and not downloading the video! Sad! She tried to catch the snow flakes in her mouth it was really cute! Maybe I will try another day when I have the patience!

It was cold and fun. Taelin enjoyed a candy cane for the first time! The stickiness was all over her and the coat! I guess that it is a good thing both are washable! Uncle Ian was in the parade since he works for Provo City.
It was fun to see him. We have our house officially decorated for Christmas! I think that it looks so cute! I will have to post some pictures later since I haven't taken any yet!
Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

Oh and here is another picture that I LOVE Taelin snuggling with Daddy!

Our Third Year Celebration!

So here is the Third Year Anniversary picture!

We always go to the temple on/close too our anniversary. We even went when we were in Vegas. This year I thought that it would be fun to go back to the Timpanogos Temple where we were married! We haven't been back there since we were married! SAD! We always end up going to the Provo temple because it is closer. So we got ready dropped Taelin on off at the in-laws and then drove to American Fork only to find out that the temple is closed! hehehehe just our luck, of course we didn't call ahead of time! So we drove bake to Provo. The temple in Provo is beautiful. We had a great time and then went to dinner at Chili's. WE LOVE Chili's. Their chips and salsa are AMAZING and the Chocolate Molten Cake is always to die for! hehehe I loved it. We had a great relaxing time together and on our way home picked up some Martinelli's and a movie. We watched the whole movie which is amazing because it was like 1:00a.m. when it got over. I usually go to bed at 10:00 p.m. This morning I paid for it, I sooo did not want to get out of bed to get Taelin! But luckily for me Taelin took a three hr. nap this morning which means that I did too! hehehe :) I love Danny so much and am so lucky to have him in my life! Can't wait to celebrate year number four!

I just wanted to say that I am grateful for a husband who tries to understand me even when I don't make sense and loves me for who I am! He is the best!!!! We have Megan watching Taelin for us so that we can go have some fun! I will have to write about it after since our plans are not set in stone. This is the first year anniversary! 2006 We stayed at the Invited Inn in Heber! It was very relaxing and beautiful!

Then Stayed one extra night for our anniversary at the Tropicana. We walked the Strip going in and out of every hotel on the way. Taelin loved the lights and had some good snoozes on the LONG walk. We ate dinner at the Rio .... It was a huge buffet that Danny couldn't wait to get to. I can't believe that a I forgot to post this one! October came and Went!

So I am officially the biggest SLACKER ever! Heheh It has almost been a month since my last blog!
There has been a lot that has happened since. We celebrated my mom’s birthday September 22nd at Brick Oven in Provo! It was a lot of fun! It was a surprise party!! We invited family and a bunch of her close friends, I think that there were about 40 plus people there. She thought her and Briant were just picking up a pizza and then taking it over to my house for dinner and to play games, but SURPRISE we were all there to celebrate her life with her! It was a great time! J
This October has gone by so fast! I was so excited though. We put up a spider web on the first, and lights, and our Halloween pumpkin witch for the front door. Danny wouldn’t let me put it up sooner! I had a great time putting it up. I love decorating for the holidays. Then we temporarily moved over to a neighbors house and watched their three children for nine days while they attended a wedding in the Caribbean. It was definitely different going from one child to four, but it was a great learning experience and beside having the flu I had a great time! We went to a Halloween party at the Flakes house, made tool witch skirts and we went for a walk in the canyon, we went to Jump On It! We went to Hee Haw farms. It was a great time!
The next week Taelin went to Danny’s parents Halloween party as Pebbles! She looked so cute!
The next event in our lives was Danny’s birthday! Halloween! It was so much fun! It Sure came up fast. Taelin and I got up early and made blueberry muffins for Danny and sang to him in bed! Then we had him open up his present! Taelin and I got him a Wii for his birthday! This will also count as Christmas and an Anniversary present ! He loved his present and we put it together and played a little before he had to go to class.
For our Costumes, Taelin was a Butterfly! I made her body suit and the wings were made by my precious sister Anneliese. (She passed away almost three years ago due to Cancer). Taelin looked adorable! I went as a Cow Girl! I found a maternity shirt at DI. I am so not the best person to come up with a cool costume! Danny however is something else. He went as Barf from Space Balls the movie! It is a spoof of Star Wars! He is a MOG half man half dog! We seriously drove around for ever looking for the right kind of material to make a tale and ears etc… Finally we decided to go for the white and then spray paint it the color that we needed! It turned out great! Danny found his work suit at Savers! It was the perfect color!
The PARTY was a blast! It was at the Robertson house! Amanda and Scott had told us that we were going to have a Halloween costume party and that EVERYONE had to dress up! I will post a picture of everyone! There were some great Costumes! Scott was David Bowie (sp) from Labyrinth, Amanda Cruella Devil, Logan as a Dinosaur, Karen a WalMart greeter, Russ as Joe Dirt, Ian and Celisa Fam. as the Incredibles, Alex as Speed Racer, Megan as a Ghost, and Matt was MIA he was at State High School playoffs.
Earlier this week, we watched cousin Alli, we had a lot of fun. We went over to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Bitter, and helped them rake and bag leaves! After playing in them. Alli had a blast! Taelin was a little timid when it came to playing in the scratchy leaves. By the time we needed to go Taelin was enjoying herself in the leaves.

Now we are in November and it is going by soooo fast! This month on the 18th Danny and I will celebrate our 3rd year anniversary! Can you believe it?! Married life is great! It goes by sooo fast too fast! There are so many good things that have happened to us since we have been married. We are grateful for our great friends and wonderful family. You have all blessed us with great memories. We love you all… thank you for reading!

The Name Game!

His nose and lips (in the middle) are poking out from his arms in front of his face!
It's a boy!

Profile with arm

Another Profile!

This is his leg bent like he is sitting in a chair!

Should it be little Brick Daniel or Dently Daniel or Dently Bruce Robertson!!!??? We will have to see what he looks like I guess! I learned a really cool fact today! My Grandfather, who died when my mother was One and a half years old was born on January 25th which is my due date! His name was Theodore Dently Schofield. So obviously the name Dently is from him. How cool would it be if I delivered on the 25th of Jan and named him Dently Daniel it would have a ton of meaning! Don't you think?! Anyway... We have quite a bit of time before seeing the little guy.. So I will just think about the names a little more, but what is your opinion?? Don't dis the names because they are ones that we really like!! hehehe But tell me which one(s) you like the most!

Danny felt the little guy move for the first time on Wednesday! He is getting so that he moves alot! It is so exciting to feel him in there alive! In the morning I just wait to feel him to know that I didn't sleep wrong in the night! I like to sleep on my back most of the time! I know that it isn't safe for the little guy, but I can't help it!!! Anyway!

Last week we had a long day, and we hurried home for lunch to try to feed her before she was too sleepy! We totally failed! heheh This picture was so cute I just had to share!

Taelin is doing great! Well for the most part! Last week we bought her toddler bed and set it up in her room. We are not making her sleep in it yet, but thought that it would be a good idea for her to see it and familiarize herself with it and then some time in the next three months start sleeping in it. She didn't handle the room switch very well. On day one,She started to be really hard to put down for a nap, or she wouldn't at all. Then on day two, I finally put the bumper pads back in her crib and she started to sleep again. Then she decided that she would try to only take one nap a day! She didn't know it but I did!!! She so needed a morning nap but would sleep! So she was awake most of the morning had an early lunch and then napped for 21/2 hrs. Then was awake until 7 and went to bed. She did this two days. Then this morning she decided that she wanted a nap. She went to her crib and said please (sign language) I gave her her Binky and she slept for three hrs!! Yeah!!! As of right now she is taking another nap! I hope that she is back to her regular sleeping schedule! She is so much more pleasant to be around when she has good naps!
Yesterday I went to the fabric store and bought new fabrics for a quilt and bumper pad for a boy! I am excited to get started! Now that I don't work I will have more time to work on them! I think that it will tun out really cute! I have picked some of the same fabrics that I used in Taelin's so that his will match the room. His colors are Green and Blue. I found a sheet at Baby's R Us and fell in love with it. It has Blue and green and brown dots on a white back ground! I love it

Danny is doing well! He has classes at BYU everyday and then rushes to work Wed-Fri! It's hard to go to school and work full time! He is such a trooper! He started flag football with his brothers, family, friends! They play every Tuesday!(that is his day off from work) He loves playing! The week before last he was kneed in the thy and had a dead leg. He said it hurt pretty bad for the next three days, I can only imagine that it is like when you get a charlie horse and how the muscle hurt for days.

Thanks for reading about the little things that happen in our life! Hope you enjoyed it!

And the Answer Is!!!!

So... Today was a busy day! I took Danny to school, dropped Taelin off at the In-laws for Megan to babysit her, then went to the Hospital!!! Today was my ultrasound! Yes I know what we are having! It's a...... BOY!! We are so excited! It is going to be fun and a challenge to have a Boy. You see I only have one brother so... besides dating and being married to one, I don't have that much expertise in this area. Being a parent has MANY learning curves and I am pretty sure that I am ready to tackle this one!
After the Ultrasound and Taelins nap, I decided that we should go get a little present for Danny to let him know it is a Boy. We went to Burlington Coat Factory. Well, in the parking lot as I am about to unbuckle Taelin I hear this screeching noise and look up to so an older man loosing control of a scooter, and he fell and it looked like he hit his head. I hurried and shut the door and was about there when another lady beat me to it. She asked if he was alright and he was. I returned to the car only to figure out that I had locked the door and the keys were inside with Taelin. The lanyard was hanging out of the door but no keys!!! PANIC!!! I ran over to a guy in a super macho truck and asked if he knew how to jimmy rig a car, he said no. So I called the police and they came to my rescue about two min. later. Tealin was alright! We played Peek a Boo while waiting for help.
We still went in the store and found little Jordan slippers, beanie, and shirt for a little boy! Danny loved them! He watched the ultrasound video at his parents house, and he figured out it was a boy quickly!
We are so excited for this new adventure! Thanks for reading about my day!

And let the Games Begin! Vacation part two!

More Fun in the Sun!!!

So the second part of our trip in California took place in Diamond Bar! It was such nice weather. Warm/HOT and gave me the perfect tanning ability! heheh What can I say I like a little color!

So we started off our vacation with a trip to Angel's stadium. They are supposed to be the number one team in the league right now! HA.... They lost 0-9! Well at least I think it was 9. We left at the top of the last inning. Anyway... we had a great time! It was fun talking to the people in front of us. They are regulars. They said that since the Angels went on tour they haven't won a game. Usually they are close where they loose by one point. This game was a blow out! There was also this adorable baby girl on the front row... Danny and I were guessing how old she was and yep we were right two weeks old! She slept through the whole game! Guess what the Angel's won their game the next night! hehehe just our luck! We still enjoyed ourselves and Taelin loved her baby sitters!

For the rest of our vacation, we had a fun relaxing time. We really never needed to leave the house, beside going to church. While there we played tennis, worked out, played ping-pong, swam...swam...and swam!!! We watched the Olympics, even made up our own Olympics in the pool, went to the San Clemente Beach all day!! Ate Yummy food at the Fisherman's Warf! Not that there was room but I couldn't resist! I ordered the Strawberry shortcake and Briant the Peanut butter Ice-cream Pie with graham cracker crust! You will see the pictures this Pie was HUGE!!! I bet that it was a whole tub of ice-cream! It was delicious though and I loved my shortcake! Good food and good times. We ate at many other great food places. BJ's Restaurant and Brewery! A Mexican restaurant with the missionaries! A Chinese Restaurant, In and Out! Etc.... I ate very well on this trip! Great food! We also at at Buckwalter's kitchen! There was always yummy food for breakfast thanks to chef Briant and yummy dinner thanks to chef Becky!

Thank you for a great time, great food, great bed, and for letting us attend the Buckwalter Olympics! We love you, miss you, and can't wait for our next adventure out to see you!

P.S. The slide show for some reason does not load correctly the first time though. Uhhhg... I don't want to make another one so here it is! Just use the arrows to go back through and look at each page! Sorry for the inconvenience! Enjoy!

We're Back!!!

After a wonderful vacation we are now back home! We had a great time in California!!

Fist we, I mean Danny!, drove ALL night. We arrived at 5-5:30 A.M. Then got up with Taelin at 8:00! It was a great drive! It took Danny about three days to recoup from the drive! Each day he slept in a little longer! Taelin was up at about 7-7:30 a.m. each day ready for breakfast! Then she followed her routine and took a morning and afternoon nap! It was wonderful... These breaks gave me just enough time to finish reading the HOST! Such a great book! Anyway... While in Cayucos we walked the beach, built sand castles, played in the water a little! It was cool! Walked the town, Ate at Duckies! My sister Emily said it was really good food and it was! We went shopping in Morro Bay, Drove to see the Elephant Seals. They look like seals but have a huge nose like an Elephant but smaller of course! This time of year they are shedding their skin and getting new ones. In the slideshow, you will see the shiny new skin and the old brown skin on some of them. We made the trek up to the Monterey Bay Aquarium! It was amazing! On the way up we decided to drive Hwy. One! It was a beautiful drive! There was a lot to look at, but I kept my nose in my book! hehehe I finished it though! I think that all of us at some point, from on the curvy road, got a little sick to our stomachs! I needed a little breather. The combo of being pregnant, reading, the turns and an empty stomach did not sit well with me! It was a wonderful drive and I enjoyed the opportunity! We stopped at Subway to eat before we went to the Aquarium! It was just what I needed!

The Aquarium was AMAZING!!! There was so much to see! We first saw the Deep Sea Otters! They look so cute and playful! The windows were double pained and there was about six inches between each pane. The only thing was that you could only see the one against the water because of the water splashing on it. So not once but twice did I try to get a closer look and hit my head on the window! It was quite funny! We also got to see the Penguins and the Kelp animals being fed! There was a huge Jelly fish exhibit going on! I didn't realize that there were so many kinds of Jelly fish! They are fun to look at!
The Aquarium had a wonderful variety of things to do and see including their hands on exhibit! We got to touch starfish and a sting ray, etc... It was lots of fun! We had a great time! One thing that we noticed while we were there was the large number of European Tourists! There were a lot! French here and German over there etc... It was great to see all of them! With the exchange rate to their advantage, it is a great time for them to come to America and tour!

Dad and Mom Elaine were so kind to have us in their home! Thank you for your great hospitality and the wonderful company! We had a fabulous time and miss you already! We can't wait for our next adventure to see you!

Thanks for reading and enjoy the slide show!

A New Addition!

SIKE!!! It's not me, but it is in my family!!!

Celisa my good friend and sister-in-law delivered a little girl Yesterday August 11th, 2008 at 12:57 p.m. .... We were all surprised! Ian and Celisa did not find out what they were having with the Ulta Sound, so when the baby came out we were delighted to see it was a girl! Personally I thought it was going to be a boy but... I am never right about these things!!! She weighed 6.9 Lbs and is 19 inches long and has a head of hair. Celisa is such a trooper! She makes having a baby look like riding a bike! Easy is what I mean... She only gave THREE pushes and then there was the baby! I pushed for THREE HOURS with Taelin! I hope that this next baby is a little easier to push out! Anyway... Here are the pictures that I have on my Camera! These are some of Melynn's Firsts!
