One of Taelin's firsts

On Wednesday October 10th Taelin had her 4 month visit with Dr. Spencer. She weighed 12 lbs 13 oz and was 24 and a half inches long. She is still in the 50 percent in height and weight but is in the 25 percentile for head size. While at the Dr's office Taelin rolled over to her side and grabbed her toes, this is a first. Taelin got 4 shots and was not pleased, she screamed for about 15 minutes until she fell asleep in my arms. (yes I gave her Tylenol) She passed with a clean slate! Taelin is as healthy as a horse! heheh I wish that I could down load a picture for you! I will have to work on that one!

Today October 14th Danny and I spoke in church on service. There were so many great talks in conference about it! I love Elder Michael J. Teh.. you will have to go to the church web site and read it again! Great message! Danny did a wonderful job and he said that I did too! heheh I am glad that it is over with. For some reason I get so anxious before and while I give a talk and then when it is all said and done you feel so great!

Today Taelin has been working on rolling over! Before church she would almost get there except for her arm was in the way. She must have done some hard thinking about it while we were at church because when we got home she rolled over and was able to get her arm out from under her! We have a movie clip of her doing it I will need to download it so you all can see! She is so cute! She works so hard to get onto her tummy but doesn't know what to do when she gets there. So we turn her back over and she seems to be even madder that we did so! Maybe she will start working on rolling onto her back :) . She also has been doing really well sitting up with support. Taelin is loving life and doing well!

Danny and I are doing great! This weekend Danny had a YM camp-out and they went to Goblin Valley. When they got there is was dark and the camp ground was full so they decided to camp out side of the actual area. Danny and the other leaders slept out under the stars, he said that they loved it except for the rolling around in the night! Isn't that how camping always is? In the morning Danny discovered that he was sleeping on a mound not a flat surface! heheh needless to say he was glad to come home to a bed! They had a fun time hiking Horseman's trail or something like that!? I would ask Danny but he is asleep on the couch! hehe

I watched Alli this weekend while Nick and Miriam celebrate Miriam's birthday (12th). She was such a little cutie! Auntie came over and we went to a boutique in Mapleton! It was a fun little adventure, a little difficult to look at everything with a 3 year old but it went great! We had pizza for dinner and Alli brushed Auntie's hair. Alli went to bed really well! Taelin however had a ruff start to the evening! After talking to mom and Auntie I think that she might have had a huge bubble or something because she screamed for about 35 min straight and then threw-up (a lot). She took a while settling herself to sleep but finally did so.

Life is an ever on-going learning experience and can be tiresome but most of all great! Love you all,
Natalie

Wow! It's so fun to watch babies work so hard and finally succeed. I'm excited to see pics and the video. I don't know how to do it yet, but I want to learn too.

Thanks for posting. It's fun to read all about it. But...are you sure Miriam is only 12? HeHEE.

Taelin is adorable!!! I can't believe that is the only time i've seen her, i've turned out to be a great friend huh?! Ever since I found out I was pregnant, which was right after Steph's baby blessing, I haven't been good at staying in contact with anyone. Being sick wasn't any fun either. I was so excited to see that you've entered the blogging world!!! We really do need to get together some time! OH! I'm having a BOY!!!!!

Um yeah, sounds like a bubble. ...

Oh and mother of boys, I think she meant Miriam's b-day is "on" the 12th, but I know what you mean. I had to read it about 5 times before it clicked that she wasn't twelve. he he
